I have been battling eczema dermatitis around my eyes and have tried everything including very expensive eye creams . I found Down Home soap company through Amber Emily Smith’s site when I was looking on social media for grief sites after my husbands fatal accident on 2/27/19. I bought soaps and then decided to try the salve. I was putting it in my feet and it was amazing but one day I decided that I would try it on my eczema. I bought this for my husband to try on his hands where he has horrible eczema. He was reluctant to try the salve, because everything other than prescription creams seems to irritate the eczema rather than soothe it. I use this product mostly in the winter bc my hands get so dried out and crack.
I just recently got Poison ivy all over my my arms and legs. I used calamine lotion and Cortizone cream to try and sooth my skin but it was still burning and itching me like crazy. I decided to give this a try and Finally got relief. I will be buying more to have on hand if I get it again.
