Like any bar of soap, all natural handmade bars prefer to dry out in-between uses. We recommend using a draining soap dish to help prolong the life of your bars.
Our soaps are NOT tear free, why? All natural soaps can sting the eye due to the mildly alkaline PH level, we ask that you keep your eyes closed when washing yours or your loved ones face. The good thing about natural soap is if it gets in your eyes our bodies natural mechanism will produce tears and wash out the soap.
Why can’t we make our soaps “Tear -Free”? We can, but we choose not too, because then it will no longer be considered “All Natural”. In order for a soap to be “Tear-Free” they have to have synthetic chemicals added to the soaps therefore making the Ph of the soap match your skin. These synthetic additives can damage the skin in a variety of ways, by stripping its natural fatty acids, causing allergic reactions, and more!
This is why it’s best to stick to authentically made, natural, real soap, and just do our best to avoid getting it in our eyes! For young ones apply the soap to a wet wash cloth and have them close their eyes when cleaning their face, then simply wipe with a clean wet wash cloth when done!
All soaps are Handmade, and Hand cut into individual bars, each bar has a goal weight of approximately 4.5 oz. The images displayed are for reference only. These are handmade items and as I try my hardest to duplicate batches it is not always possible, so please allow for slight variations in appearance.
Regulations set forth by the FDA prohibit bath and body companies from making health related claims about beauty products, this includes handmade soaps. The descriptions of my products apply to the ingredients used in each bar. I am not a healthcare professional and do not claim that the use of my soaps may have an effect or treatment on any pre-existing health conditions.
