Hi friends! My name is Gabriella, founder of Down Home Soap Co. I’ve always had a passion for animals - ever since I was a little girl. Being married to a farmer who shares the same interests as me is a dream come true! What started as “Jack Jack” my first goat for our 2nd wedding anniversary gift has turned into a family-run business - milking the highest-quality Mini Nubians and turning their yummy, nutrient-rich milk into goods for my family.

I felt like I was being pampered from the moment I opened my box, as the pure and gentle fragrances greeted my senses. Each hand cut bar was wrapped in a pretty paper band containing plantable wildflower seeds and the soap felt smooth against my skin. Who can't use these wonderful pampering soaps? It feels like someone put a lot of care and thought into producing them.

Why Goat Milk?
Goat milk has benefical vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids, zinc, and amino acid. It also contains alpha-hydroxy acids which help remove dead skin cells from your skin’s surface. The cream only found within goat milk naturally enhances the soaps moisturizing properties, and the pH level is closest to human skin which prevents dryness and allows nutrients to enter the skin easily. In addition to the milk within all of our soaps, we incorporate high quality oils infused with medicinal flowers grown organically on our farm, I believe this extra step is what sets us apart from competitors.
