At Down Home Farm & Soap Co, we believe in skincare made the old-fashioned way—crafted by hand, with care, using the finest natural ingredients. Our nutrient-rich, hand-milked goat’s milk is infused with farm-raised florals and medicinal herbs, handpicked from our garden. Our Story

Hi, I’m Gabriella, founder of Down Home Farms & Soap Co., wife to a third-generation farmer, and mama to two spirited girls. My story started in the most personal way, when my youngest daughter suffered from painful rashes and eczema that left her skin raw and irritated. We tried every prescription and cream the doctors offered, but nothing worked. As a determined mom desperate for relief, I turned to the basics of the earth and my own background in science and herbal medicine.

Why Goat Milk?

Goat milk has beneficial vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids, zinc, and amino acid. It also contains alpha-hydroxy acids which help remove dead skin cells from your skin’s surface. The cream only found within goat milk naturally enhances the soaps moisturizing properties, and the pH level is closest to human skin which prevents dryness and allows nutrients to enter the skin easily. In addition to the milk within all of our soaps, we incorporate high quality oils infused with medicinal flowers grown organically on our farm, I believe this extra step is what sets us apart from competitors.
